This one day course enables you to carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing) you will need to gain and demonstrate competency. This certificate allows you to test appliances, schedule when this needs to be carried out and covers how you generally administer the asset registers. You will also be able to carry out both visual inspections.
The need to gain this qualification is due to The Electricity at Work Regulations Act, 1989. This one day course covers everything you need to know about PAT Testing and how to carry this out. It will also cover current legislation.
This course also covers the Management of electrical equipment maintenance. This is enables you to manage the PAT testing of appliances for an organisation as well as being able to simply carry out the PAT testing.
Our Courses comply and follow the The Code of Practice (CoP) for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (ISITEE).

There are no pre-entry requirements to attend this course. You do not need to have any prior knowledge of electrical theory and principles or the understanding of electrical terminologies.
