Pressure Test Training 1 day

This 1 day course aims to supply pipe-fitters with the skills and knowledge required to successfully carry out a variety of pressure tests.

PRE REQUISITES
Delegates must have a pipefitting craft background.

TRAINING AIDS
Use will be made of audio-visual equipment, course handouts and practical demonstrations.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

On Successful completion of the course delegates will be able:-

To prepare for a pressure test
To carry out a pressure test
To depressurise a system
To react in a safe and controlled manner in the event of a leak
To carry out the setting of a relief valve using a pneumatic medium
Be aware of the increased dangers of performing pneumatic testing
Know the equipment requirements in carrying out a pressure test
